It’s a snow day for most of the borough’s school children after the white stuff arrived overnight.
Only a handful of schools have opened today meaning that the majority of pupils will be able to make the most of the weather.
However, the Met Office has issued an amber weather alert for the Thames Valley this morning, meaning more heavy snow could fall before 11am.
The latest forecast shows that snow could fall in Wokingham borough all the way through until lunchtime.
The weather is causing problems on the roads: Reading Buses cannot currently access Bracknell Bus Station, which serves the Lion and Leopard buses. The company says the rest of its route is unaffected.
Lion 4 & Leopard 3B are currently unable to access Bracknell bus station due to the icey conditions as vehicles have been getting stuck. Other than this, both services are operating their full route! Sorry for any inconvenience caused by this!

Wokingham Borough Council is not collecting blue bags today.
In a statement, it said: “Due to the snow we have suspended rubbish, recycling and garden waste collections today.
“Anybody whose collection is missed this week can bring your bag/s and bins back in and put them out on their next scheduled collection day.”
