WORK to install a new bridge over the M4 will now take place from the end of the month.
As part of the Shinfield Eastern Relief Road project builders will be installing 12 45 metre long beams over the motorway to form a new six-lane bridge.
The sections have been moved to the site ready for installation and the supports have been built on the banks of the M4.
The work will be carried out over five nights, weather permitting, from Monday, November 30. If the weather is bad, then the work may be extended.
Contractors from Hochtief (UK) will be working from 6pm to 6am each evening.
