A TEENAGER was pulled off his moped and then kicked in the head in a savage attack on a Saturday teatime.
Thames Valley Police said it is appealing for witnesses to come forward following the incident which took place at Shinfield Cricket Club in Millworth Lane.
The victim suffered a swollen wrist but required no hospital treatment.
Three people have been arrested by police under suspicion of assault occasioning ABH (actual bodily harm). They are a 34 and 35-year-old man from Earley and a 55-year-old from Liverpool.
They have all been released under investigation.
Police said that the 16-year-old victim was riding an orange moped at the time of the attack, which was about 5.30pm on Saturday, May 4.
The first offender is described as a white man, approximately 30-years-old, of average height and with fair hair. He was wearing a blue hoodie with a white stripe on the chest and blue jeans.
The second offender is described as a white man in his early fifties, of average height, with grey hair. He was wearing a black jacket with a red top underneath.
The third offender is described as a white man in his thirties, with brown hair, wearing a blue hoodie and blue jeans.
Investigating officer, Police Constable William Laurie based at Loddon Valley police station said: “I am appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident, or who may have any information about what happened to please come forward.
“Anyone with information can contact police on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference ‘43190134259’ or make a report online.
