The third window has been opened in Wokingham’s Living Advent Calendar.
Tonight’s venue was Marks & Spencer in Peach Street and, due to the rain, was held in the store.
The entertainment came from the Thames Valley Chorus, conducted by Liz Croft.
The group sang a medley of festive tunes to the delight of those assembled.
Every day between now and Christmas Eve, there is a different event taking place in Wokingham town centre. The Living Advent Calendar has been organised by More Arts and Wokingham Town Council and is hugely popular.
Each evening’s entertainment is a closely guarded secret, and performances take place at 6.15pm or 4pm at weekdays. Tomorrow’s venue is The Local Barber Shop in Montague House, off Broad Street.
Entry is free, although donations towards the town mayor’s charity are welcomed.
