RESIDENTS are being warned to be careful about who they interact with online after police have received reports of so-called sexploitation cases.
In one case, the victim received a friends request from someone he didn’t know on Facebook. He accepted and the person suggested they started video chatting.
During those conversations, they became intimate. Afterwards, the caller said he had videoed the incident and will be forwarding it to the victims, family and friends.
Thames Valley Police said that the scammer has not said they want money and have not forwarded the video.
They advise that people should not do, or say, anything online, or even on a mobile phone, that they would not want your parents, family, friends or work colleagues to see or hear.
