THREE teenagers have been arrested after a man was assaulted in Chalfont Park in Lower Earley last month.
In the attack, an 18-year-old man was told to hand over his tobacco and mobile phone and then sustained stab wounds to his back and legs as he tried to leave the park.
The man’s car was also vandalised during the attack, which took place around 7pm on Tuesday, March 27.
Thames Valley Police officers arrested a 15-year-old from Winnersh on suspicion of attempted robbery, a 17-year-old from Wokingham on suspicion of attempted robbery and a 16-year-old youth from Wokingham on suspicion of attempted robbery, common assault, shoplifting, criminal damage and possession of an offensive weapon.
All three have been released under investigation.
