Heavy rain is forecast for Wokingham borough today, with the potential for thundery downpours this afternoon.
However, it should be dry this evening for the first night of the Twyford Beer Festival (and even if it does rain, the marquee will house hundreds of beer lovers).
The Met Office has issued a weather warning for today. The heavy rain of this morning will ease as the day goes on.
However, there is the risk of thundery showers later.
Looking at the Met Office’s prediction, this will affect parts of Wokingham borough around 4pm or 5pm. However, as with all forecasts, things could change very quickly.
The rain is currently forecast to ease off after 6pm, and then be dry but cool on Saturday.
Saturday is a busy day in the borough: activities include a D-Day commemoration concert in Arborfield, Woodley Carnival and the second day of the Twyford Beer Festival.
