Police closed a stretch of the B3348 today after a two-car collision.
The accident happened this morning on the Bracknell Road near Crowthorne, just before 9am. Police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward.
The two vehicles, a blue Honda Jazz and a white Ford Focus, are believed to have been travelling in opposite directions.
A man in his forties, the driver of the Ford Focus, was airlifted to St George’s Hospital in Tooting, while a woman in her fifties, was driving the Honda Jazz. She was taken by land ambulance to Frimley Park Hospital. Both have serious injuries which are not believed to be life threatening.
The road was closed while emergency services attended and Roads Policing officers investigated the circumstances but has since reopened.
Investigating officer PC Tom Roberts, from the Joint Operations Unit for Roads Policing based in Taplow, said: “I would like to speak to anyone who saw the collision or who saw the vehicles travelling prior to the collision.
“If you have any details which could assist with the investigation, please contact police.”
