Co-director of Cinderella, Gavin Robinson said: “Twyford’s pantomimes are of a high standard and have been nominated for special merit on several occasions.
“We are a small society up against some big groups so we are very excited to have been chosen for this year’s trophy from the 12 nominations.”
Mr Robinson who has a 20-year background with the group and has directed five of its pantomimes- added: “We are fortunate to have an excellent team of choreographers, comic actors, backstage crew, costumer designers, sound and lighting engineers etc.
“Everyone in the pantomime brings their own special ideas and abilities, so that when everything comes together we have a show that is extraordinarily entertaining and uplifting. We are already working on next January’s show.”
The group’s next production is Agatha Christie’s Spider’s Web which will be performed in October.
