POLICE are urging a victim of assault to come forward following allegations of an attack in Wokingham Without last Tuesday evening.
The man, thought to be in his forties, is said to have been assaulted in the car park of the Pinewood Leisure Centre by a number of other men believed to be from a motorcycle group. Police said that it is understood that the victim was then taken into nearby woodland. The incident took place on Tuesday, June 26 around 7.30pm.
The Pinewood Bar and Café hosts a bike night every Tuesday from 7pm.
Investigating officer, Sergeant Jonathan Hare based at Loddon Valley police station, said: “We are concerned for the welfare of the victim and I would encourage them to come forward.
“Our investigation has included searches in nearby woodland, reviewing CCTV and conducting house-to-house enquiries.
“I am also appealing for witnesses with information about this incident to contact Thames Valley Police on 101, quoting reference ‘URN 1653 of 26 June’.
