A hat-trick from Jake White helped the Sumas to their third league victory of the season as they moved up to ninth in the Hellenic League Division One East.
The Sumas withstood some early pressure from the hosts as Woodward was called into early action, making a smart save before Kidlington fired the rebound wide.
Kidlington then came close twice more early in the match as they hit a free-kick just wide of Woodward’s post before wasting a great opportunity to go in front as they hit their chance narrowly over the bar.
In an end to end start to the match, Wokingham pushed forward and were rewarded with a penalty kick as Rushforth was bundled down in the box. White stepped up and made no mistake from 12 yards as he gave the visitors a 1-0 lead.
Having taken the lead, the Sumas began to find the ascendancy in the match as they created a flurry of chances before the break. Cummuskey, Holland and Rushforth all came close to adding a second but were denied by strong stops from the Kidlington goalkeeper who limited the score to 1-0 going into the break.
The home side started the second half strongly, but the Sumas again defended resolutely and hit their opponents on the break as they doubled their advantage, with White adding his second of the game.
White then completed his hat-trick to cap a brilliant individual and team performance as the the Sumas wrapped up a comprehensive 3-0 away victory.
The three points see Wokingham & Emmbrook climb up to ninth in the table having won three and lost two of their five league fixtures having played less games than all of the sides above them in the division.
Next for the Sumas is a home fixture at Lowther Road on Tuesday, October 1 at 7.45pm against bottom of the table Abingdon Town.
Wokingham & Emmbrook: Woodward, Carter, Cummuskey, L Eagle, C Eagle, Day, Harris, Holland, Edwards, White, Rushforth.
