Des O’Connor and Jimmy Tarbuck – two legends of the TV screen – will be making a rare appearance in Reading this Sunday night – and we’ve got a pair of tickets to give away!
Eric Morecambe might have joked that second prize would be no tickets to see Des O’Connor and Jimmy Tarbuck, but for those in the know, their show at The Hexagon brings together two of light entertainments most popular figures from the last 50 years for one evening of entertainment.
Direct from the London Palladium, Des and Tarby will use music and video to look back on their popular careers, which has included hosting chatshows, game shows, releasing records, appearing at the Royal Variety Performance on numerous occasions and being television and stage smash-hits.
The Guardian has described the duo’s show as “a night of theatrical history to be remembered for many years to come”.
Organisers say that this is the last chance to see Des and Jimmy together in what will also be a night of theatrical history, brought straight to Reading following their sell-out show at the London Palladium Theatre.
