YOUNGSTERS from across the borough got into the Christmas spirit thanks to a festive party.
Borough mayor Cllr John Kaiser joined families at the Me2 Club party in Charvil on Sunday. He is fundraising for the charity during his mayoral year.
Children could enjoy crafts, face painting and cake decorating. They also had the chance to visit Santa and share their Christmas wishes with him before receiving a hand-picked present from his elves.
Entertainment came from Juggle Puppet’s Cai Lear, who led games, performed magic tricks and created animals from balloons.
Cllr Kaiser presented three winners of a Christmas drawing contest with prizes and spent time chatting with parents and children as they took part in activities.
He was delighted to be at the event, which took place at Charvil Piggott Primary School.
“I can’t think of a better way to spend Sunday morning that with all these happy children,” he said.
