THE COUNCIL is launching a consultation of equality and leader Cllr John Halsall wants to hear from as many people as possible.
The aim is to use the responses to create an equality policy which will be debated at the March meeting of Wokingham Borough Council.
“The equalities policy is to create the architecture –I want the borough to be a place where anybody, whatever their background, their issues, disabilities, are able to live happily, be respected and have a quality of life which they would hope for,” Cllr Halsall said.
“By putting that architecture in place, making it robust, we can make the borough a better and better place.”
