A SERIES of summer concerts is to take place in Wokingham town centre from Saturday night.
Over the next three weekends, All Saints Church in Wiltshire Road is the venue for the music.
Launching the series on Saturday night is the Rotherhurst Quartet – they are teaming up with the church choir to perform Mozart’s Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, Pachelbel’s Canon in D and Franz Schubert’s Mass in G.
A week later, the award-winning folk duo Ninebarrow will make their Wokingham debut where they will perform some of their latest compositions.
Then on Saturday, June 23, Wokingham Choral Society will present its summer concert. The programme includes Rutter’s Feel the Spirit, works by Gilbert & Sullivan and a selection of other operettas.
Tickets for each concert cost £12.50, concessions for students are available for the Choral Society event.
