THE STREETS of Wokingham were packed with fun lovers on Monday as the annual Wokingham May Fayre returned.
Charity stalls dominated Denmark Street and The Plaza, while Elms Field was home to funfair rides and great attractions including ferret racing and a petting zoo.
Stalls included teddy raffles, cake sales and chocolate tombolas.
A specially erected stage in Market Place saw a wealth of groups perform including The Sainsbury Singers, Coombes CE Primary School and Steppin Out Stars of Tomorrow.
And The Wokingham Paper welcomed visitors to its stand to take part in a Bonny Baby contest.
The event was organised by Wokingham Lions and raises thousands for charities each year. The final total is not yet known but the Lions’ main charities are Building for the Future, DrugFam and Berkshire Women’s Aid.
