RAIDERS hit a branch of Boots in Wokingham town centre in the early hours of this morning.
A small van was used to reverse into the doors leading to the perfume area of the store. The offenders smashed a glass door to a fragrance cabinet and stole high value fragrance.
Police confirmed they were called out around 6am.
Officers are currently on scene and an area by Market Place is cordoned off.
Debris from the vehicle can be seen across the pavement, including a wheel arch and broken light fittings.
There does not appear to be any display cases broken and, other than the mess, no indication as to what has been taken.
A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said: “Officers attended the scene and an investigation is ongoing – no arrests have been made at this time.”
