A WOMAN in her 40s was sexually assaulted by a young Asian teenager while walking down a Winnersh lane.
Thames Valley Police said that it is appealing for witnesses following the attack, which took place between 6.30pm and 7.30pm on Wednesday, June 6.
The victim was walking along Watmore Lane, which runs from behind Wheatfield Primary School to Robin Hood Way, when she was approached from behind.
Police said that the offender assaulted her by touching her over her clothing, before cycling off.
He is described as an Asian male, in his early teens and was wearing a red coloured football top, jeans and no cycle helmet. He was riding an old red racer bike. He sexually assaulted her by touching over her clothing.
Investigating officer, PC Alex Moore, of Loddon Valley Police Station, said: “I would like to speak to anyone who witnessed this incident, or who has any information which they think could help our investigation.
