A WOMAN walking in Woodley was kicked by a mugger and had cash stolen from her bag. Police are now appealing for witnesses to the assault to come forward.
The incident took place around 7pm on Tuesday, October 1, as the victim was walking along Perimeter Road near Mohawk Way.
Thames Valley Police said that a man approached her, pushing the bag off her shoulder. He then kicked her, which caused the bag to fall to the ground.
He then stole money and ran off in the direction of Beggars Hill Road.
The offender is described as being a medium build and around 5ft 4ins tall.
He was wearing a dark coloured jacket with a zip up the front. The hood was up, and it was large enough that it covered the top half of his face.
