Woodley United continued their upturn in form with an impressive draw against Wallingford on Monday evening.
It was so nearly even better for the Kestrels, who led 2-1 at half-time at Rivermoor thanks to goals from Max Laschok and Sam Guze.
The visitors pegged it back to 2-2 after the restart, only for Laschok to net again with his fourth goal in three games.
However, Wallingford snatched a 3-3 draw in stoppage time.
That draw comes off the back of Saturday’s 3-1 win at Chinnor which lifted Woodley off the foot of the Hellenic One East table.
Jon Laugharne’s men have now lost just one of their last six games and host neighbours Wokingham and Emmbrook on Saturday (3pm).
WOODLEY: Bryant, Guze, Sissons, Malone, Jewell, Barron, Axton-Hall, Barnard (Thomas 60), Fernandez (Hawkins 80), Laschok (Briggs 89), Mannion.
