A WOOSEHILL place of worship will be a hive of activity as it celebrates the harvest.
Two days of special events will take place at Woosehill Church in Chestnut Avenue.
It is centred around a flower festival, and sees all the groups that meet in the church take part.
The displays will be, among others, Brownies, Guides and Rainbows, an art group, the Energy Kidz organisation, choir Sing Someting Simple, a toddler group called Tadpoles and also a group that makes special banners in the church.
In addition to the festival, there will be an opportunity to learn more about the church and its activities across the week.
The church will be open from 2pm to 5pm on Saturday, September 28, and from noon to 3pm,
Church members will be serving tea, coffee and cake on the Saturday, and soup and a roll on the Sunday.
And donations will be collected for three charities: Yeldall Manor, which helps men overcome drug or alcohol addictions; Wokingham Foodbank, which provided emergency food parcels for those who need them; and the church’s special fund to purchase a defibrillator.
