YOUNG scientists are invited to some special sessions taking place in Earley next week.
The Earley CResCent Resource Centre in Warbler Drive is holding two half-term events on Wednesday, February 20.
In the morning from 9.30am, children aged 11 upwards can enjoy a Science Roadshow where they will learn about gases; recycling plastic; flames and fire.
Entry is £4 per child.
Then in the afternoon, from 3.15pm, there will be a family event aimed at children aged four to 10.
In this session, the team from Reading Science Centre will lead experiments in slime; recycling plastics; and how to build the strongest tower.
Places cost £10 per family, with a maximum of two children per adult.
All equipment and protective clothing will be provided.
